So this weekend I was on my way to get my hair cut and styled and on my way to the shopping center this guy that had to be atleast 10+ older than me with a mini mullet was like, "Hey, sweetheart where you going wanna stop and talk to me?" (He seemed like a pushy car sales guy.
I say:"No thanks"
He says:"Where you going?"
I say:"I got some errands to do"
He says: "When you come back out you want to stop by and talk to me?"
I say: "No. don't think about it" walked past him without looking back.

Was I too mean?

NO.

There is nothing mean about saying NO.

at first i was kinda worried that the guy would still be out there or he would be some weirdo.

absolutly not. it sounded like you were pretty polite in that you didn't completly blank him. be no harm keeping an eye out when you pass that way again to see if he works around there. alternating routes is a good idea.

Man, women are uptight.

It's a shame women have to feel like they're walking on eggshells just to walk down the street. Too many times guys get overly offended by being rejected. Seems like more and more guys feel a woman is obligated to talk to them just because.
