I remember the Mc Hotdog and in the 90's for maybe 3 summers in a row they served Mc Bratwurst and a Mc Cheddar Melt. I love brats and they also came with kraut. The Cheddar Melt was: one beef patty with grilled onions, melted cheddar cheese sauce on a rye bun.

McPizza's were MY FAVOURITE THING at McDonald's and the only thing I ever ordered when I went there. Even as a kid/young teen I knew McDonald's food wasn't great but I always loved their pizzas. Not only did I think they were reasonably well topped, they always had to cook them fresh when I ordered them.... so unlike worrying about stale fries or a heat-lamped burger, the pizza was always piping hot and fresh tasting. The phased them out in two stages it seemed, first some restaurants didn't sell them, then no restaurants did... but whenever I found a pizza-mcdonalds, I ordered it. McDLT http://www.youtube.com/wa...TSdUOC8Kac The McDLT (McDonald’s Lettuce and Tomato) was sold in a novel form of packaging. The meat and bottom half of the bun were prepared separately from the lettuce, tomato, American cheese, pickles, sauces, and top half of the bun. Both were then packaged into a specially designed two-sided container. The consumer was then expected to finalize preparation of the sandwich by combining the hot and cool sides just prior to eating. The first problem was that the packaging was unwieldy – but even worse: who wants to buy fast food and then put it together themselves? The atrocious video above is almost reason enough for this incredible failure of a product. It stars the famous Jason Alexander in one of the most awful adverts from the 80s. This burger eventually found its way back to McDonald’s rebranded, restyled, and actually put together for you, as the Big N’ Tasty. I distinctly remember this one, and thought (at the time) that it was the greatest idea since sliced cinnamon bread. But I guess we're just too damned lazy to be bothered to slap 2 pieces of a sandwich together, eh?

Do you guys get double filet-o-fish there? Also, do they deliver? Here you can order your meal along with renting a movie at the same time. KFC has all kinds of Thai-centric meals now that I think of it, all spicy and with rice. Not bad actually.

this reminds me of JBX
JBX Grill was a line of fast casual restaurants introduced in 2004 by Jack in the Box Inc. JBX Grill featured high-quality, cafe-style food, avoiding most of the cheaper fast-food items typically served at Jack in the Box. The architecture and decor maintained an upbeat, positive atmosphere, and the customer service was comparable to that of most dine-in restaurants. Two of the Jack in the Box restaurants in San Diego, California (where Jack in the Box is headquartered) were converted to JBX Grill restaurants that were used to test the new concept. (The locations in Hillcrest and Pacific Beach still retain many of the JBX elements, including an indoor/outdoor fireplace and modern architecture.) There were also restaurants in Bakersfield, California, Boise, Idaho, and Nampa, Idaho. The last stores were converted back in 2006.
they had Wasbai-Ketchup Honey-Dijon Mustard Honey Misqute BBQ Sauce Cajun Mayo and one other dipping sauce for their fries... it was the best with applewood bacon burgers on ciabbata bread and stuff like that. it was soo good! And how much are they these days? I guess the 5.99 mentioned above refers to US dollars, right ? Is there anything else at Canadian McDonald´s restaurants that is "typically" Canadian, like poutain or something like that ? It's real and probably atlantic lobster...and on the east coast local lobster is cheap. And I do think that they have Poutine as well - on the east coast, quebec and ontario for sure. I'm not sure about western canada though. McDonald's and Burger King both have poutine out here on the westcoast, but it's god-awful, puke-looking shit. You'd think it'd be hard to fuck up fries with cheese and gravy, but.... "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"
