Soulmates? Do you believe in that stuff why or why not?

Soulmates? Do you believe in that stuff why or why not?

I think that there is a someone for everyone, but I wonder if there is a mission for each individual to find that person?
I really like spicy food. I mostly put Jalapenos on a lot of my food.

"There are three types of women for a man. The woman he wants to marry, the woman he should marry, and the woman he ends up marrying".

No, over 6billion people in world that's too big of a haystack for me. I believe there is a type of person.

It's a beautiful idea though.

Yes I absolutely believe in soulmates. They don't necessarily have to be the person you end up with either.

I believe in them, but no matter how much you believe you should be with that person, whether you find them at some point in your life or not, it doesn't mean you're going to end up with them in the long run.

"soulmates" as a romantic concept can be tricky. Relationships require a ton of work. as a label, "soulmates" conveys to some that less or no work will be required to keep it working.

Some romantic bs that sets your partnership up for failure. I think we can make soul connections everyday if we're open enough. But the idea that there is 'the one' who is the other half of you somewhere is just some Mills and Boon ish designed to make you unfulfilled.

I didn't until i found mine. There was always something that I thought I would just have to live with that spoiled the idea in my head of a soulmate. However finding the person who's soul is aligned with your own with the same goals, dreams and ideals does not mean that they will not be things to work on or cause friction, it does however mean that you are both aligned together in working through them and staying strong.

Yes I do, and I got lucky and married mine. mushy

No. Because the very idea is ludicrous. lol

I DO believe people may fall in love and can't imagine there being a more perfect person out there for them, though. But that doesn't mean it was "meant to be" or that they may not have found happiness with the next person that came along.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soulmate
Soulmate is a term sometimes used to designate someone with whom one has a feeling of deep and natural affinity, love, intimacy, sexuality, spirituality, and/or compatibility. A related concept is that of the twin flame or twin soul, which is thought to be the ultimate soulmate, the one and only other half of one's soul, for which all souls are driven to find and join.

I agree. I think we all have a lot of soulmates and it's all about chance/fate/destiny in coming across them.
