Johnny Depp is one of the few actors that could get me interested in seeing any movie no matter what it's about. I'll most likely see this film at some point.

A lot of other crime dramas feel like you're on the outside lookin in, but what I like is how Michael Mann always puts the audience right in the middle of the story. The other thing I liked was how unlike "American Gangster" he didn't try and blend 8 or 9 movies into one, he gave us a moment in the lives of a bygone era straight no chaser.

My wife and I saw it this afternoon. It could not have been more boring. As much as she loves Johnny Depp, at one point she asked if we should leave and go see something else..... Wait for the DVD.

Loved Johnny's walk. Wouldn't be surprised if this really would entice some car buffs. Love story and action all rolled up into one. Had to cover my face a few times, though.

I love Johnny, I should go to see it this weekend.

The movie was he bomb. Teh set the fashion the action were superb. It was almost as good as the Untouchables!

gonna check it out on tuesday when this theatre near my house is 6 bucks all day cuz i'm cheap like that . looks real decent. that french chick as his girl is hot . can't go wrong with johnny's pretty ass

Folks really knew how to dress to the 9's back then. Billies $3 red dress looked flyyy enough to make the stuck up chicks jealous. Johnny has soo much Depp. Besides the fact that " rat finks" are still in abundance, the movie was dope...and that's good. Maybe an award in the future for something will come??

Just saw this today and was blown away by it. What an amazing array of actors. Even the minor roles had some incredible talent.

Loved the score of the film too.

I'm not gonna read this because of spoilers BUT I must say if it sucked I wouldn't mind just staring @ JDepp for the movie.....

i saw it yesterday (for 6 bucks ) . i thought it was decent . johnny depp is always dreamy :nohomo: and that french chick was too . since i tend to rate movies by the hotness of the stars, this one gets my vote . but nah, it was okay, i guess. i liked it . it's always fun watching christian bale tryna speak with a southern accent also
