A Poem By 2the9s It appears Mr. 9s is quite the Trekkie!
The Escape From TOS By: 2The 9s I was tired of Captain Kirk, I'd been watching him for too long, Mr. Spock was getting annoying, They’d been on the air far too long. So I decided to go channel surfing, I read the TV guide in bed, And in the 7 PM column There was a description of a new show I read. If you like Star Trek, Klingons, Romulans, and Furangi, If you're not into Ohura, If you like John de Lancie, If you like watching the Enterprise take flight, And explore outer space, Then "The Next Generation" is the show that you've looked for, Turn to TNN and escape. I didn't think DeForest Kelly, I no longer wanted to see Captain James T, I now had Captain Picard, And an engineer named Geordie, So I turned the TV to TNN, I saw my new hero Q, In an episode called "Tapestry", Argue with my new captain and his crew. Yes, I like TNG, And the Borg named Hugh, I guess you can call me a Trekkie, I like seeing the Enterprise travel to Calder II, My favorite episode is called "Q Who?" Where Q hurls the Enterprise to another end of outer space, I'm glad I watch The Next Generation, And I no longer have to see William Shatner's face. -------
