Christian Bale: The Machinist Interesting flick, I just got around to seeing it. Of course the transformation he underwent was the most stunning part of the movie. I dunno how he did it but he just looks like death  I'm amazed he was able to keep up w/ the shooting schedule, his energy had to be shot!  It's pretty amazing to go that far for your craft, no wonder he lit into that guy for disrupting his scene - this dude is beyond serious!

Trust me , at one point I almost looked like that and its not much fun . It physically hurts to sit or even lay down as your bones stick through your skin , it wasnt until I was heading for renal failure that I actually took any notice of anyone
It is true what he said though , you seem to be in a complete serene place when you are that hungry .... everything seems in slow motion | |

I havent seen it but I feel I have to stick up for his rant/outburst against the poor lighting dude for the Terminator film.
Christian Bale is a fantastic actor one of my favourite films is 3:10 To Yuma and he was amazing in that.Another one of my favourite films was Rescue Dawn in which Bale played a POW,and so convincingly.He's probably one of those actors that doesnt even break character at lunch time Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!
