My only complaint about FB is when a friend talks about baking cupcakes. Which causes me to crave them then that friend goes that extra step and posts a picture of them all decorated and yummy looking.
pout

Some people to my understanding have lost jobs and relationships because of Facebook nod

eek Thats a frightening thought

Not necessarily. I've seen people post some pretty stupid shit to do with their work (that should be private work matters) or post shit about how their job sucks DURING work hours (when they should be working). IMO that's just asking for trouble.lol

Depends on whom exactly you surround yourself with. Luckily for me, I've friended some very sane people on my facebook. I know them all from real life save for about maybe 6 people on my list. I think it's pretty pathetic people have to go that route to be so nasty and crass.

All the more reason I blog. eek
And people in my circle know that I blog. So it's like...the start of a lot of big talks and things but still nothing too bad coming from that either. I've heard of FB dramz and am SO glad that's all I've been a part of. I'm too old for drama.

My friend is a man and he is forever posting things that make me hungry.
whistling

Other than that my facebook has been fine with little amounts of drama. My cousin makes comments from time to time to poke at me but I just ignore her.
I had trouble on myspace a few months ago when I was away traveling. My step-mom's sister set up an acct just to harass me on my blog while I was away.
She thought I would not have any internet access, I guess. Well, she got busted and I reported her. Looking at her acct, it was so obvious that she only set it up to harass me. Well, either that or she was such a loser that she did not have any friends or both!
lol

Actually, facebook is the place you can control that type of thing.
I've removed folks who've been unpleasant or overtly Republican so as to have a peaceful place or sanctuary on the Internet.

About the only person I get harassed by constantly is Anxiety, but he's going to be sorry cause I'm gonna bring it hard on facebook soon!

maybe for you it has. maybe you should choose your friends more carefully. I have had no issues with facebook, and I have well over 100 friends. If you choose morons as friends, that is what you will get, so please forgive me if I don't share your griping.

hmmm Perhaps there will be a special sector of hell for those who are shuffling by force rather than by choice?
