i spend way more time on myspace than i do on facebook, but i haven't had any major problems with it so far. but i can see where you could be easily bothered there by people you don't want to be bothered by. one of my ex-boyfriends did find me there.

oh hell no eek ....that can be an easy enough situation to handle I suppose, but what if was the case some stalker-ish type person on the prowl? Unless 2 people had previously approved permission to contact each other whenever and however, that reeks of all kinds of weirdness to me.

Honestly, I'm rebelling against these mass social networks until I can find a way to use them strictly for business. I have hobby sites which I love and have made a lot friends on (in real time)..., but something about the blind intentions of myspace, facebook, and twitter doesn't sit well with me yet. Not to mention it's becoming more common for agents of authority (banks, employers, etc) to use them as character references. I'm not sure if I want someone looking at me sideways because a myspace friend of mine is allover the place licking peoples toes after dipping them jagermeister, or somebody got caught in the midst of some other naughtiness...or for long lost others to just show up and contact me knowing full well I'm not feeling it hmmm

And that's why I've mentioned that people have lost jobs behind these sites. Someone told me that he lost a co-worker because on his Facebook, he said that management sucks, and they found out.

I haven't noticed any drama on Facebook (but then again, I don't go there much). I did have a cousin contact me through Facebook, whom I have not spoken to, in some time. That was pretty cool.

Perhaps you have childish people on your friends list shrug

I never encounter such things. How can you have a stalker if your page is private?? I only have people on my page that I KNOW and if they become annoying to me at any point, I delete them. It's very simple neutral

Smooches;)

So I just MMOB.

Same case here. I have absolutely no problems with facebook. I don't have access to any one else's account either so I can't tell what's happening with other accounts.

Facebook, online communities, like prince.org, and other net services, or alienations, not to be very pessimist ... means obviously that people all over the world are more lonely today ... we think that we are communicating, but this is bullshit ... we are more and more alone, and probably we are going to have some mental problems, we talk (if this is talking) virtualy with everybody, but they are nobody, this is not real talking and communicate, this sounds false, most of the identities are false ...
and in all this computer slavery, we must be careful, because big brother is always whatching us, i mean the real BB from George Orwel, not the silly tv show ...
so, instead of spendind lots of time, talking, posting things with any interest, try to speak with your friends, people living near you, a simple good-morning, a simple smile, a simple aplogy, invite them to drink a cofee, a beer, a walking, a small talking, to the cinema ... i'm sure it will be more interesting and grateful... try and you will see and feel more confortable, less alone ... and more happy ... remember life is too short, we need to pay attention and do something different to avoid these horrible machines and technology that are poison to our human lives, we must change it, it´s up to you... sun crash pray

WTF?
I was with you when you said that people all over the world are lonely. Without posting here I'd go crazy since I have absolutely no one else in the world to talk to. But "computer slavery"?
Again WTF?

I only have a facebook page, but I barely go on it. Probably about twice a month or something like that. My ex-bf sent me a friend request last week, but I rejected it. I reject a lot of people, I don't get how people send these damn requests and they don't even know you. disbelief makes no sense. I only use the damn site to keep in touch with past high school and college friends. Many times, I've thought of deleting the whole account. And who knows, that decision is still up in the air. I really don't have time to check sites like these...shit I barely have time to check the org, lol.I didn't bother to get a DEVILSpace page either. The horror i've heard on that shitty site is unbelieveable. Marriages have ended, relationship drama..??? Who knew that cyberspace could cause such ruckus in people's lives.
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

That has to be the answer. How else does an iPod go from the Grease soundtrack to some French industrial fetish track? confuse
