True Blood 2.3 "Scratches" GREAT SHOW!
I knew Bill would just glamour Jessica's family "I glamoured them to within an inch of their sanity." LAFAYETTE is FREE!!! For now They hit a couple of key points in the "Sookie-sees-Dr. Ludwig-for-the scratches" scene, but the book was way naughtier. For Tara getting disgusted @ the "orgy". Wonder what Maryanne's going to do to her for it! I've said this once and I'm saying it again. HBO SUCKS ASS!! Putting True Blood on a two week hiatus in basically the middle of the season!!! Next episode on 12 July 09 I'm firmly planted in denial

*Sigh* More boobies and still no good male flesh. This show is still in guilty-pleasure territory for me, and I need more pleasure to assuage my guilt.
Aside from that, decent episode. Did they explain what happened to Lafayette, though? Maybe I missed it. Last week, all the vampires were feasting on him and I thought he was going to be turned into one. But apparently not? And why not?

He relented as long as Sookie goes to Dallas with him so he can use her powers for some business I think, and she agreed as long as Bill goes with her. Eric is not through with Lafayette, since he shows up at his house on the next episode. Eric wants in, but Lafayette has to invite him of course. Could posibly turn into a Gay Human/Vampire relationship if that's what the creators want it to head to.

I loved the preview for next week (wait, not next week July 12th HBO sucks ass). Lafayette tells Eric that he knows Eric has to be invited into the house and Eric says something to the effect of you can't stay in there forever/you have to come out sometime. Just evil! I love it. Did anyone catch what Bill said? About how eventhough Eric is "barbaric" in dishing out justice, Eric is still not as bad as most vampire sheriffs. The makeup department was LASH HAPPY last night!!! Damn! Tara, Maryann and Jessica all had huuuuge lashes on. And don't think I didn't see them on you too Miss Sook-eh! Tara looked divine. And Maryann's dress . Oh yeah...I enjoyed the story too.

Decent episode, although I thought the Lafayette resolution was a bit anticlimactic.
As for the next episode, I'm guessing Eric is there to take Lafayette up on his "make me a vampire" offer -- an offer that maybe Lafayette will have reconsidered. And, yeah, the girls all looked pretty good last night. Whoever is Michelle Forbes' stylist has an AWESOME eye! And, oh yeah... hiatuses suck. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

Eric Well, I've never read the books , but I've read the synopsis on wikipedia. Since there's some divergence with the book with Lafayette not dieing, they gotta give him some plotline. Lafayette is through with dealing with V, so what is he gonna do? I personally would like to see a Lafayette/Eric love thang going on.

I do like some of the changes Alan Ball has made with the series. Lafayette being my No. 1 favorite change. I want to see Lafayette become a "day man" and give that hypocritical Senator a ration of shit!!! I'm firmly planted in denial

Otherwise, it would have been completely pointless. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου
