Anyone had their teeth straightened as an adult?

I'm looking to get my top front teeth straightened, I've done a bit of research on the internet and am interested in 6 month smile or invisalign? Anyone tried either of these?

A friend of mine had her front upper teeth straightened with the type of braces that go BEHIND the teeth.

No one could tell, and her smile is perfect now.

clear braces for a year or a year and a half. Depending on the results you may have to wear invisalign for another year. $$$$

I had 2 sets of braces.Once as a child and in my early 20's.
Just remember, your teeth shift all the time, especially after having braces.

U open up ur eyes and come 2 realize
u simply imagined this
So u lean over and give her a kiss
Here on earth, here on earth,
with u it's not so bad
Here on earth, here on earth
eye don't feel so sad
Stay right here

I had mine straightened in my early 20's. I'm not in the US so don't know anything about the names you mentioned.

I had a really good orthondontist who didn't take any shortcuts and was honest enough to advise me to go for the metal braces instead of the clear ones (they were cheaper so he wasn't just trying to make extra money from me). I know several people who got the clear ones and they were very happy with them but my orthondontist told me that the metal ones work a little quicker and the cement they use to attach them to your teeth is less strong so it's easier to take them off without causing damage to the enamel (that could all be changed now though). They're more obvious looking but you get over that and the results are worth it.

I was amazed at how quickly the teeth can move and I've never regretted it. Have to wear a retainer at night sometimes but it's still worth it.
