R.I.P. Coco Brown

What a horrible situation!

My sis has had Coco, a pekingnese dog, for about a year.
Never having had children, she and her husband really took to Coco, spoiling her rotten. They treated her like a child...taking her picture with Santa, getting her pampered, etc.

They decided to go skiing this weekend, and asked my other sis to watch Coco. She's been a lifelong pet lover, and agreed. Sat night, she wasn't feeling well, and asked my brother to take the dog out for a potty break. Coco, RAN
away from him. They spent hours looking for her, but decided to try again in the morning.

The next morning, some neighborhood kids said they seen Coco. They took my sis to her...she'd been hit by a car, and had been dead for hours. sad

It's gonna take a little time to heal these wounds.
I feel so bad for BOTH of my sis's...
But, at least they're talking to each other...smile

Horrible!
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect, it means you've decided to look beyond the imperfections... unknown

I've had a couple of close calls with my dogs so I'm extra careful now and really make sure the collar is tight and the leash is secure in my hand on a walk.
