The Family (2.0?) just made a generous donation to my team for the Animal Humane Society's Walk For Animals
(which happens this Saturday)!

*AND*

Our team (which includes CarrieMPLS, among a couple of other familiar .org faces) is the 12th biggest fundraiser for the entire event!

I mention all these things, of course, because I realize many of you want to be part of this amazing zeitgeist. Being the nice guy I am, I don't want anyone feeling left out of this historic landslide victory, THEREFORE:

That's really cool that they made donation. So that means they read the org? lol.

I'm pretty darn pleased with how well we're doing!

And to think I thought I couldn't raise more than $100 at first.

it goes to lots of services. yes, blankets and food is part of it. but also money will go to spaying and neutering strays that they take in, and it will go to classes for new pet owners (stuff like obedience courses, or classes that teach kids how to behave around a new pet, stuff like that), and just about anything else that a humane society does.

this isn't a radical animal rights activism group. the money doesn't go to crazy billboards and red paint to throw on fur coats. i mean, god bless those groups i guess, but the organization i'm walking for actually puts the money to use for actual services that benefit animals and pet owners, which is why i believe in it and want to raise money for them.

i just want to know when this walk is and do we get actual video footage of the walk.

I already donated ~ just after Mars. Thank you Anx and Carrie for doing this. I wish I had bunches of money to send your way but I donate several times a year to my local no kill shelter. for animals and for you n Carrie!
