Soap mad

That was mine! Too bad most of the principals are long dead.
I wonder if the producers knew if that was going to be the last show.

That sitcom still stands as one of the funniest, and most creative, ever.
I'm trying to remember all of the last episode's cliffhangers:

1)Burt was walking into the ambush in the alleyway.
2) Chester was about to shoot his girlfriend and her lover
3) Chester's ex-wife was facing a firing squad in Latin America

Oh well, I'm probably forgetting a couple.
Actually, there was a wrap-up of sorts with Chester's ex-wife. She appeared as a vision confirming her death to Benson in an episode of that sitcom, which was a spinoff of Soap.

Yes. ABC really fucked them over. The "wrapup" in the last few moments of the last episode was rushed, and clearly tacked on by the producers in an attempt to give some closure to the fans.
And it didn't even deal with the fact that George Hamilton was introduced as Ned's dad four episodes previous, and then wasn't mentioned again.

Word has it that producers may go the comic-book route for a third season, much like Joss Whedon did for the eighth season of Buffy, so keep your eyes peeled.

The producer and writer of the show thought that after the first 13 shows of this season, and then the winter break, that they'd have the back 9 episodes. There was a 2 or 3 show story arch with the sisters, then it was to go back to Chuck and the Pie Maker, and he could have wrapped it up. But they got canceled, so those first 13 of this season were all they had to do everything. He was really upset that those back 9 episodes weren't allowed.

They are going to comic book status in the fall, with 12 issues I think. It'll go for a year. If it's REALLY successful, they'll go further.

What was the cliffhanger for hermans head?????

Herman was hit by a taxi and ended up in a coma. The peeps from his office are with him in hospital and reminiscing about times with him and his infamous psyche characters (lust, sensitivity, anxiety and intellect) act out the emotions.

What sucks is that this series has not yet been released on dvd.

Yah true mate. Ratings were poor 2nd season even though IMO it was a brilliant show and so eventually they axed it. Shame huh.

I believe everyone involved was waiting for Michael Cera to agree to it since he's the biggest star now.

Wow okay cheers for that cause this is all news to me. I was just reading up on the production on another site and it's still only a possibility for 2010 because not all actors are on board as yet. Apart from MC apparently they're still waiting on JB, PDR and LM etc...

Which I still can't figure out why? If I remember it right Herman's Head came on at 9:30 after Married With Children on Sunday night, they should have had great ratings.... I guess people turned when the Bundy's went off.

That show was funny as hell! To this day, I still get a laugh out of Adam (Michael Scofield from Prison Break) saying, "Is Mary Cherry retarded?" lol
