What a sweet story. When I met her it was just briefly, but she looked me in the eye and smiled and when she shook my hand she had a firm grip and kept her eyes on me for the 30 seconds that I was in front of her. She was very beautiful too. | |

I bought the DVD set of the first season a few months ago because I knew that was the season she was on and was my favorite. This is truly sad news.

i just learned of this on teletext-went to post here and its already up. So sad though I'm glad her pain is over. Even sadder-her familys has just begun. Man we need a cure for this soon-too many decent folk go this way. R-I-P the cutest angel ever | |

I woke up seeing Farrah's story being examined on the TV Guide channel and I remember that feeling I had seeing Ed McMahon's story and they had just revealed that he died so when I saw Farrah, I remember thinking "OH NO, not her too!" Then when I got out of bed there it was: "Farrah Fawcett has passed away in Los Angeles: 1947-2009."

This is very sad news. She was putting up a very brave fight and as sad as this is, I'm glad that she's not in pain anymore. She was a very good actress and a very beautiful woman. I pray for her friends and her family, especially Ryan O'Neal and their son.
