4 weeks and now not so strong... I caved. It was sooooo hard yesterday!
I quit the butts again 2 weeks ago today. I didn't wanna make a big production out of it because I didn't think I'd get this far...but I did! Cold turkey and so far haven't gained a pound. Must be the 6 miles I ran on Saturday

that's how I finally stopped, it kind of became like a video game to me, every weak moment had to be met with "I don't smoke cigarettes".
I'm probably going on 6 months now and I haven't even noticed, except for the close to 6 bucks a pack I don't spend anymore! | |

Congratulations!! I have never smoked a day in my life but, my aunt use to be a serious big time smoker who I was sure would die of it. It has now been over 20 years since she quit, she had a really bad cough, that kind where it takes your breath away, scared her so bad she gave it up cold turkey and never looked back. It's so possible..congrats again!  | |

That's great news both of you! Like Paisley I have never smoked either,but my father did. He started when he was in his early teens,and did'nt decide to stop until 3 years ago. He still chews though
