From the very little I saw of this show I liked Jon and wanted to repeatedly punch Kate in the face.

He's finally free of being her bitch.

And I think the kids will be ok. At least they are being provided for financially.

I don't know what's up with people and the multiple birth thing lately. Most folks I know can barely handle the 2 or 3 they have with spacing in between. You end up with a couple spending years looking like this dead who generally tell their friends "don't do this shake whatever you do, try to have a break in between shake!"

Whatever man, people get divorced all the time. What's happening to them is no different than what happens to million of kids. The dad wants to move on with his life in private, the mom doesn't and will whore her kids out a bit more...but it won't last forever. I really don't think those kids being on tv is scarring them for life.

the kids do seem to get along for the most part and take care of each other. J & K did something right.

Damn, that's cold lol . But I totally understand. Any chance to get away from that screaming shrew, I say run as fast as you can. Thankfully they do have a good nest egg for the kids, though. Their estimated worth from this show, the books, product endorsements and investments is about 10 million now. Better they split now knowing the union cannot be repaired vs. keeping those kids in an emotionally toxic situation and the 8 of them ending up in therapy for years on end.

That is the total jewel in watching this show nod. The cutest thing I think I ever saw was an episode where one of the kids was leaving for an outing (because they alternate 2 kids per errand so they each get alone time to hang out with them). The little boy was getting ready for his errand, and he went to all his brothers and sisters and hugged and kissed them goodbye; he was like 'I'm weaving now and i have to hug you so you won't cwy " touched mushy

...that crap almost made me want to push out couple of anklebiters touched

...almost confused hmph! confused

lol

We use to have a neighbor who would put her baby to sleep in the room furthest from her room (just a fence away from my bedroom window) just so that she did not have to hear her baby cry at night. omfg I'd call her lazy ass on the phone to wake her up and tell her her kid was crying! evillol

i saw a clip of Maddy asking Kate, Mommy why don't you let them have fun...these kids are really heading for therapy.

It's a shame. It's so cool that this show began almost like an educational vehicle to document pregnancy and the struggles of child rearing. But then it somehow became more and more about showbiz. Their clips are now the first thing you see on Yahoo entertainment pages vs. any sites on family or relationships. As for Kate's domineering hand, I understand that as a parent you have to be really systematic with raising a large brood, but these poor kids are trapped so much inside of a bubble vehicle that's systemized for branding them as a product now. Who wouldn't need therapy if they have to endure days on end like this:

Interestingly enough, Maddy is the most outspoken of the kids and mirrors her mother's behaviors sometimes. It's ironic that even as a small child she is the only one in the house who always addresses Kate defiantly and without fear, even more than Jon (pre-marriage meltdown):
