RIP Ed McMahon (1923-2009) Ed McMahon, the sidekick to Johnny Carson on The Tonight Show, the original host of the TV talent competition Star Search, and the pitchman for Publishers Clearing House as well as other products, has died.

It's been a hell of a week all the way around. I always did like ole Ed on "The Tonight Show". Hopefully he and Johnny are reunited now and enjoying themselves. He deserves a great introduction into heaven....."Heeeeere's Ed". Andy is a four letter word. | |
