Arizona Man Sang Eminem Songs While Stabbing Family; Thought Wife Was a Demon, Police Say

GLENDALE, Ariz. — An Arizona man told police he was possessed and sang Eminem songs while stabbing his family to death, MyFOXPhoenix reported.

Miller told detectives he visualized his wife, Andreana Miller, as a demon, according to the station. He said just before stabbing her at 4 a.m., he sang lyrics to an Eminem song, saying, “Here comes Satan, I’m the anti-Christ, I’m going to kill you.”

Miller told police that when his children woke up to their mother’s screams, he stabbed them, too. He added that he stabbed his son the most because he loved him the most, MyFOXPhoenix reported.

Miller calmly called the 911 dispatcher and told them he killed his family. The dispatcher asked him, “Are you sure you’re not dreaming Michael?”

“I’m positive,” he replied.

Police say the 29-year-old stabbed his wife and 10-year-old daughter to death. His 4-year-old son Brian survived being stabbed 11 times.

Brian is recovering in the hospital and being looked after by family members.

Miller is expected to be charged with 2 counts of first degree murder and 1 count of attempted murder.

Eminem was no more responsible for those deaths than KMFDM and Skinny Puppy were for Columbine.

Yah Eminem has nothing to do with this but severe mental illness does. It's sad that after all this time peeps find it necessary to blame others for their actions. The Judas Priest trials should have been enough to educate others but these ras'oles are so weak they continue to point the finger at these artists rather then themselves.

A man killed his family. While singing? It's easy to blame the artist expressing himself than it is to actually blame the person responsible. Clearly this man is insane and took the lyrics a little too seriously. There are a LOT of fans out there who do that. Which makes it darn near dangerous for artists to even be able to express themselves/their experiences/their line of talent with the rest of us. I've only listened to a few of his songs casually and I've never felt the need to beat up or maim anyone. I see a man expressing a lot of violence and anger--the things he was put through as he grew up. He's lived a hard life.
Am I condoning the fact that he wrote about hurting his ex wife or the other things he's written about? No. That's some twisted messed up stuff and it seemed like at the time the music was his therapy.While it wouldn't have hurt him to seek more help, I hardly would say he's to officially blame for what happened here.

Again, people take the lyrics too seriously. And a lot of them aren't in their right minds. I went to school with kids like that who listened to music of that nature and took it to heart. Luckily for me they were taken care of.

Blame the people who listen to the music and take it too far.

I thought demon possession and inappropriate song lyrics went out in the 80s. Eh fry the dude and call it a day. Sick of these murdering ass psychopaths. He sure did handle that 911 call calmly though.

It's real sad this man was either having mental issues, or a victim of doing to many drugs! I feel for his wife and daughter...and my heart goes out to his poor son, who has to hold on to such a memory.

OMG i heard some of the 911 tape today on my way home from work and its scary.., he is all calm and cool when he calls saying he stabbed his family... i think this was close to where i live... i have not heard the exact part of the city where they lived but it creaps me out after hearing how he sounded...
