Too bad, so sad.
I guess that's why they're talking about episodes for the OC housewives after the NJ season finale, no more Atlanta for now, that's a shame really.

Economy wasn't tanking in 2007 I don't know if it was or wasn't tanking then but honestly, when I was in Atlanta in 2007 a lot of people were in distress because the real estate market was going into the poop bin. Everybody was really nervous about their homes being their primary investment, and that they seemed to be losing worth by the second. All that lamenting led to some good frozen margarita parties, at least

With all the truly affluent black folks in Atlanta, I really don't know how these hoodrat climbers even made it. Granted all these shows have trifling climbers but these chicks lack of funds was quite evident. You are absolutely correct. This is what happens with "new money" folks. Did any of these folks plan ahead or live in the moment and hit Lennox Mall all day everyday?

I guess folks in industries that were not the first to tank didn't realize how bad it was getting for THEM. But hell, my boyfriend's job went belly up in 2004 and it took a year and a half to get a half way decent job. Folks in middle America are usually last to feel pain, with the exception of Michigan. You can see how the economy affects what parts of the country by how red or blue their vote is. Not to get this moved to P&R, but let's all move to Nebraska. You can get a job at least!

Yeah, I bought several rentals in '05 and a year later you could see the shift in the real estate market. Move to Texas too cuz our job market is still great in comparison to most of the country.

Yep, we still have a lot of people moving here cuz the job market is still pretty good, again, in comparison and our housing market is not as bad off either.
