If this is the 'explosive excerpt' then I doubt she has a bestseller on her hands. And what's up with the title? Perfection is Not A Sitcom Mom? Awkward. She's not exactly the person I think of when I think of great sitcom moms.
next thing you know, the first Harriet is gonna be writing a tell all book about Jaleel White "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

She brought a lot of strength and grace to her role on the show. Is apparently a Julliard-trained actress. Last fall, she did an interview with Essence magazine where she admitted to have written a book (that was then titled "Murder of a Sitcom Mom") but said that she wouldn't be publishing it because she had found healing over the firing and all that followed it. Almost sounds like something happened between October and whenever she decided to publish. Really? Definitely sounds like something is up. I liked her and had nothing against her but I'm thinking this was more tumultuous than it appeared. It's been almost 20 years and as an actor things happen all the time on sets and with roles that aren't fair or properly dealt with especially with women and pregnancy. I wonder if this somehow impacted her not doing much work after. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

[Edited 6/18/09 14:18pm] She was bad ass in that dance episode and so pretty in pink too. She was such a dancer, wasn't she? She was a Broadway diva for a minute, she starred in CATS...I wonder if she at least continued on in the theatre after Fresh Prince? The only other thing I remember from Aunt Viv is that she was on one of my mama's soap operas, but it wasn't one of those long term 50 year storylines...Shame she was fired from Fresh Prince, somehow I always preferred her to Daphne Reid. Something in the onscreen chemistry was off with Reid for me.

I just think whenever someone whines like this, just keep auditioning and getting out there as much as you can.
You whine like this and it simply looks like you're using their mega fame to get your 5 minutes in. LAME.
