The End of the Affair did too (and I'm a HUGE Julianne Moore fan) as did The English Patient. Snoozeville.

Those movies are fabulous for the clothes alone. hmph!

The clothes were AMAZING, you're damned right about that. I'll even give you The End of The Affair, I loved the plot, but somehow I can't let go of "...Patient" from my snoozer list....and Hope Floats? The equivilent of watching a pet rock and waiting for it to bust into a Cha-Cha. If I could've gotten my money back from the box office for that one I would've taken it gladly.

I just wasted 2 hours of my life watching The Spirit last night. Nothing entertaining about that movie at all.

LADY IN THE WATER!

Oh my god, I've never wanted to punch a film in the face until this.

It was 50 hours of Paul Giamattiwhatti whispering to some mermaid chick about how M Night Shyamalan is going to save the world by writing a book.

The English Patient
Howard's End

I can't believe I paid money to see Howard's End, but it was supposedly up for best picture, so I went to check it out, I nearly fell asleep watching it, but the only reason I didn't fall asleep was because someone sitting right behind me was snoring loudly. bored zzz :

I went to the pictures to see Lake Placid and i fell asleep about 10 minutes in.
To this day I have never seen it.

M Night Shyamalan last 2 have been absolute murder.I swear im never giving him another chance.

Just about anything made in the early/mid '60s and before. bored disbelief

Classic Hollywood, for the most part, just bores me. I know most of it is considered 'timeless' and in some cases 'masterful'... but the pacing and atmosphere for me is just ugh. I've been forced many times over at my best friend's (who, along with her family, LOVES those kind of movies) to sit through the stuff and each time I just stared dead-out into space. lol

Two exceptions I can think of off the top of my head are It's a Wonderful Life and Citizen Kane, and even they had moments where the pace seemed to drag. zzz

I'm still traumatized thinking of a Christmas day as a kid waiting to open our presents after having to watch Bruce Willis on his meteor in "Armageddon"
The meteor scenes seemed to drag on forever, all the while my presents were screaming my name!

I thought that movie would never end!
