Castaway

Without Wilson, that would've been the worst movie ever made. It may still be the most boring.

OTOH, I love Do the Right Thing (best Spike Lee movie by a long shot) and Star Wars.

The End of the Affair did too (and I'm a HUGE Julianne Moore fan) as did The English Patient. Snoozeville.

Julianne Moore is brilliant. She is incredibly good in Safe, which I think is where I first fell in love with her. But she's also in another movie I'd like to add to the most boring list: Short Cuts. Total snoozer.

Napoleon Dynamite

THE CURIOUS TALE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON wasn't curious at all.

And, for all those folks saying they hated "The English Patient" -- a veritable tour de force of acting, mind you -- disbelief

The movie may have been more rousing all together if she had been nude for the whole film, but that may have taken away from the storyline smile

I think the movie was just fine as is really. Sure the melodrama was applied thickly throughout, but sometimes I'll go for that.

"King Kong" (the 2005 remake). barf

Horrible movie. That movie is way to long. 3 hours of my life I will never get back. Kong doesn't make an appearance until about 2 hours into the movie!! I prefer the 1976 version with Jeff Bridges.

I've yet to see a Kubrick movie that hasn't required at least a power nap midway...that goes for Eyes Wide Shut, The Shining, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Clockwork Orange...not that they're bad! Visually stunning, but a very trying pace.

I spent the winter going through all Fellini's films, and The Ship Sails On is a definite snooze. By association, I also watched Altman's Ready to Wear, and never made it all the way through...

I loved Howard the Duck..."Cherry Bomb"!
