But I will say that the only thing lacking from Pantha's post is that AIDS is not necessarily the FINAL stage (as its often viewed). I was diagnosed because I landed in the hospital near death with pcp pneumonia. My tcells were way down. Both, technically, requirements to an AIDS diagnosis. I was very fortunate and made it (it was a long ass recovery). That was 12 years ago. Here I am today. Strong and full of life!
So AIDS is not always necessarily the final stage.
