I believed her too. However, based on the way she explained that situation I got the feeling that her husband's family was maybe unintentionally involved in some mob stuff. Judge stops release of 'Real Housewives' sex tape

PATERSON, N.J. — One of the stars of Bravo's "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" has stopped an ex-boyfriend from releasing a sex tape — at least temporarily.

A judge on Wednesday ordered an injunction banning the release of any sexually explicit video or pictures of Danielle Staub and her former boyfriend Stephen Zalewski pending a hearing next month.

Staub, of Wayne, says Zalewski is trying to get back at her because she broke up with him last year. She says she was videotaped without her knowledge.

Staub filed a lawsuit Wednesday in Paterson that alleges invasion of privacy, defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

A call seeking comment from Zalewski was not immediately returned Wednesday

I hadn't even thought of that. I thought it was odd that they did that when they hadn't done it before, but I didn't think it was for the reason that u mentioned until now. That makes a lot of sense b/c clearly Danielle was involved in way more shit than she tried to portray in the last episode. :side eye:

And I definitely agree with Caroline's blog post where she said the things from Danielle's past had the potential to be more damaging to the rest of them than just their social standing. But I also agreed with Danielle's post where she said why is Caroline's family's pain more important than hers. I would've felt sorry for her if she wasn't always trying to stir up some shit instead of finding a more classy way of hashing things out. And then her ass LIED about it! She claimed that she had no choice but to bust out the book at the family dinner b/c ppl refused her invitations to get together, but even if she had to do a sneak attack she could've waited for a get together that didn't involve everyone's children and husbands.

Yes, Danielle's daughter did say her mother was from Brooklyn, and I'm not sure if Caroline's family is originally from Brooklyn, but I sure hear a lot of Brooklyn accents coming out of quite a few of them, even Teresa's husband. I could be wrong though.

Steve was banging other chicks too behind Danielle's back, that's probably why she broke up with him, because she probably heard it through the grapevine at the Salon. You know how women gossip at the salon...
