Ever had your monitor go a little "soft"?

I've somehow changed my monitor settings and everything's now slightly blurry. sad Seemed to happen when I installed either a Flash or Java update.

Already tried fiddling around with my screen resolution setting, but that doesn't seem to help.

Do you use a flat screen when you're editing your photos? We're about to get a new computer today and I'm concerned the colours and sharpness of the flat screen won't be as good as my trusty old huge-ass old-school monitor. I've seen some of my pics online on some other peoples' flat screens and they looked completely different (worse). sad

my display is shit - it's a viewsonic 22" gaming screen. It's much softer than an Apple cinema display, and photos I've edited here at home looked oversharpened on my friend's iMac sad

Maybe your monitor is over-worked. Or it might be suffering from performance-anxiety.

I'd suggest stopping smoking and cutting right back on alcohol.

Worked for me. nod

Never had that problem, but I hear it works. confused
