I loved it, well almost loved it...The ending was kind of wack, but I'm getting used to seeing good movies with sketchy endings these days I loved the ending. I don't want to post spoilers, but I thought it was totally cute that they ****ed, when they couldn't in the other place. Cheesy, but awesome. The whole black hole under the passenger seat thing was a bit too random to me but I do love the movie I wish Shannon Sossamon was in more quirky movies [Edited 6/18/09 18:58pm] If you will, so will I

She was in 40 Days, 40 Nights (guy gives up sex for lent) A Knight's Tale (guy pretends to be a knight) Catacombs (girl gets lost in the Catacombs) Rules of Attration (so bad I can't even describe) but she has so much potential! I watched An American in Paris and GiGi on TMC with my mom last weekend. An American in Paris is such a gorgeous film ~ the sets and costumes and Gene Kelly dancing were rare treats ~ both of the movies brought back a lot of childhood memories and it was nice spending the time with my mom just enjoying them. Blade Runner- this fun cyberpunk/neo noir film was very interesting! I found the plot to be very good! the ever present darkness and rain in the city helped out the atmosphere of this movie. My only main problem was that some scenes did not really make sense to me, also this movie isn't really true to the book. i gave this movie 9/10
Blue velvet-Oh my god was this movie a trip. Dennis Hooper is scarier than fucking michael myers in this movie. I love the mixture of the peaceful town and the dark secrets that it had. i like the fact that Lynch does not give a shit if he offends, he just makes art.my only negatives where the somewhat misogyny that this movie had. 9/10 ghost in the shell- i love this movie..thats all 10/10

Night at the Museum 2 - - Total crap, Ben Stiller just isn't cut out for kid's movies. Owen Wilson is always cute but Stiller just bumbled around with a stunned look on his face for an hour. Terrible, only saw it because I had to take my toddler cousins to see it. They didn't enjoy it either.
The Hangover - - Fuck, this movie cracked me up to no end. Just perfect, and actually had an interesting plot, too. I like that I've never heard of any of the main actors yet I felt like I'd known their work for years and their different comedic styles were so easy to pick and get used to. Best comedy in years. Transformers 2 - I didn't see the first one and I've never been into the series. The transformer fights were cool, although sometimes everything on the screen was just a blur.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine (out of five) - Filled with clichés and cringe-worthy moments, but some of the fight scenes weren't bad. Easy Virtue - Pleasant comedy about a British aristocrat son that brings home his brash new American bride much to his family's chagrin. Jessica Biel is cute as the bride, but the draw for me was Kristin Scott Thomas as the snooty mother. Departures 1/2 - Extremely sentimental film about an out of work cellist who begins a new career preparing the dead for burial. Easy to see why this movie won the Oscar for best foreign film this year.

Hamburger the Motion Picture (1986) funny moments in Police Academy Screwballs like 80s comedy, standout performance by camp black guy called Magnetta Jones and usual cliched fat guy, nerd, nun, oversexed Latino cast guy 5.5/10
Summer Lovers (1982) Ridiculous teenage love flick set in 1982 Greece, bad hair, bad clothes, bad acting and a bizarre menage a trois enevelop this early movie and a varying soundtrack ranging from terrible (Michael Sembello) to fantastic (Prince) 3/10 American Gangster (2007) Excellent drama set in 70s about an expert drug running operation and how it was eventually busted. Superb 9/10 So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time

Amusement, Hit & Run, Knock-Knock.....all terrible straight to video horror movies. These movies were just terrible, and not like the deliberately bad horrors that have charm. All get a rating of 2/10. Well Knock-Knock gets a 3/10, because the killer was like a knock off of Leatherface with a paper mache mask. That made me laugh.....and the kills were kind of creative and over the top silly. Since I laughed a little, Knock-Knock was the best of the bunch. Amusement annoyed me the most, because they tried to make it into one of those "strategic" horrors. Just go old school slasher w/ it, unless you're gonna do it right. They tried to make it seem like the killer was so sadistic, but he didn't really act on what he planned to do. It was like a cock tease the whole time. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

Took the kids today. It had some very funny parts. Of course there was plenty of cheesy & recycled kiddie comedy...but that's exactly what it is, isn't it? I give it Much, much better than Ice Age 2, and actually kept me entertained. Plus the kids were cracking up. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

Séraphine 1/2 - Understated biopoic about the little known French painter that worked most of her life as a maid. Yolánde Moreau is charming as the eccentric artist. Happy Go Lucky - About an extremely upbeat school teacher who meets her nemesis in her bitter driving instructor, I watched it again on video this weekend with family. I LOVE IT. Schoolteacher Poppy's positivity is infectious and watching this film always puts me in a good mood. Foxy Brown - A blaxpoitation classic! Let's be real here, it gets a high rating from me because of Pam Grier's rack.

yeah I remember that! I saw it at the cinema with my grandma and she was covering her eyes at that part - and I thought that is why all the others had M ratings, but this one was only PG and still had quite strong scenes of horror
