No... it's Oakland. Here's the scoop... Victim was cutting a clients hair when the two assailants entered her shop and proceeded to beat the crap out of her over a "Boyfriend". Naturally, there were no witnesses... A working class Hero is something to be ~ Lennon

Is this beat down really worth it? Eh, it's something you might see on a (bad) street corner. There's no green destiny swords or gravity defying. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

I LOVE Berkeley I can stay out there for hours and forget about time Oakland isn't always that bad, that's just on occasion in certain parts I grew up in Virginia so it was a big shock to me when I'd see certain stuff [Edited 6/11/09 2:33am] "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. I told CalhounSq once how shocked my mom was when she came back here My mom grew up in Oakland, right on Seminary in East O. Went to Havenscourt Middle and Fremont High. We moved from Oakland when I was 2 then moved back when I was 12. She had been telling us about how great Oakland was....then we saw it The only thing I loved about Oakland at the time was Kwik Ways burgers and See's Candies Now I love the O but it saddens me of what it's become. The city has ALOT of history "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

pure uglyness. And everyone just a spectator. two on one. The whole thing is sick. I hope that tape is used to prosecute those women, even if they have some justification for all that mess. Ridiculous. 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

Did you ever get a chance to go to T's Wauzi Records back when Eastmont was actually a mall?? That's where I got my first rap albums back in '86-87... It's progressively gotten worse but I used to love shopping at that mall for Ellesee sneaks and Troop jackets... fuck, I'm dating myslef right about now...
