My mom grew up in Oakland, right on Seminary in East O. Went to Havenscourt Middle and Fremont High. We moved from Oakland when I was 2 then moved back when I was 12. She had been telling us about how great Oakland was....then we saw it

The only thing I loved about Oakland at the time was Kwik Ways burgers and See's Candies

Now I love the O but it saddens me of what it's become. The city has ALOT of history
