Quick Payday Cash Loans Online..........Yay OR Nay?!? 1. I'm Undecided.
2. As of May 2009, quick cash loans centers in the state of Arkansas are now lifetime banned from the state. And since banks don't do payday loans, these online alternatives will be THE only option available. Discuss.

Since you're the only yay so far, which cash loan company did you "trust"?

No, never. These scumbags should be outlawed. They prey on people.
"Payday" loans are small, short-term loans made by check cashers or similar businesses at extremely high interest rates. Typically, a borrower writes a personal check for $100-$300, plus a fee, payable to the lender. The lender agrees hold onto the check until the borrower's next payday, usually one week to one month later, only then will the check be deposited. In return, the borrower gets cash immediately. The fees for payday loans are extremely high: up to $17.50 for every $100 borrowed(1) , up to a maximum of $300. The interest rates for such transactions are staggering: 911% for a one-week loan; 456% for a two-week loan, 212% for a one-month loan.

These loanshark are parasites that feed on poor people and ones who can't budget, isn't it like $15 per $100 you borrow and mega interest if you default, even if its $10 per $100, thats still 10% interest a week, plus they usually charge penalty fees, cost of finance fees, and administration/ documentation fees which have no grounding especially if the loanshark just peels the cash off a wad in his pocket. These things are bad (Think about it, people get hooked and soon they pay off $500 a week and then loan $400 again, its just too exploitative. Here in New Zealand, this is rife especially amongst Bone poor Pacific Islanders and other immigrants (Mostly other immigrants doing it), and we are going to ban it eventually. No one should profit off someone elses misery. So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time

Since you're the only yay so far, which cash loan company did you "trust"? Wait, I just saw "online" in this topic. I never did one online.

You can't blame Money Mart if you all of a sudden don't get paid or whatever. Should only be considered in the rarest of occasions.

I'm a broke sista in her soon-to-be mid 20s. It's alluring but I know it's a big smelly no no. They're everywhere and too common in the area I live in. They're on afternoon TV promising the moon and stars. Just the simple thought of getting so much from doing so little (some of them say "no credit check at all!!") reeks of something I say nay to. Online? HA! DOUBLE NO! Triple, quadruple no! I shop online but I don't borrow bank from the 'net.
That and my frugal money-smart dad would tan my grown hide if I even thought about one. He doesn't mind dropping a tiny amount of bank because I'm still his kiddo and all. That mess is worse than a credit card and the reason I'm going back to school to finish so I DON'T have to ever use one. [Edited 6/5/09 9:28am]
