Other types of people around the country. America is a melting pot of different races and culltures. We got all of the 7 or 8 races that makeup humanity here. But there are some races that can only be found in certain parts of the country. SOme many people may not know about.
Like in East Texas, Louisiana,and Mississippi we have cajun people or creoles. These are people mainly of french, black slave or carribean,and american indian blood.Centered around New Orleans Beyonce is the best example. They can look like either 3 or combinations of 2 or 3. In New York you've got Peurto Ricans. You can find them in Peurto Rico but New York is the only state you can find them in abundance. And besides Peurto RIca is a part of The United States. Also New York and New Jersey is flooded with West Indians. I swear the words "HATER" is wayyy over-rated...smh | |

Puerto Ricans are in huge numbers in Conn., RI, MA, PA, GA, NC hell, the entire country east of the Mississippi, don't forget Chicago, Minne and other parts of the middle of the country were many farmers from Puerto Rico were sent as migrant farmers in the 30's and 40's. | |

[Edited 6/8/09 23:59pm] There are large numbers in 3 of the major cities in Florida (Miami, Orlando, and Tampa) and between them and Cuban immigrants, it helped tip the scales of the election to turn Florida blue. One of the most thriving ethnic communities in New Orleans after Katrina is Korean. In short, any major, large scale US city is going to have racial diversity if not harmony. I know I live there. Ft.Bend County outside of Houston is the 2nd most ethnically diverse. THe University Of Houston is the most diverse. Houston is a very top center for asians (particuarly vietnemese) and East Indians. Working up a purple sweat. | |
