With computer-generated characters landing more & more roles in major motion pictures...has anyone gotten sick of them yet? Why do they tend to be so damned ANNOYING????

I haven't seen Watchmen, but the rest were EXTRAORDINARILY annoying!!! Of them, Jar Jar was worst.

I know you meant a CGI character in an otherwise live action movie, but I think these guys deserve a special mention, it took some time to get used to them in the movie, they didn't feel right.

I found Alvin & The Chipmunks surprisingly entertaining and non-annoying. Didn't mind that movie at all.

Jar Jar is the worst for me because he was equally offensive to both the eyes and ears.

I'm always underwhelmed by CGI and think it's one of the worst things to happen to movies, because it's nowhere near as good as moviemakers seem to think it is. CGI characters always look phony, and then they get even worse when they're viewed on a small screen. I really hate the CGI in the Spider-Man movies and the Hulk.
