The movie Waiting to Exhale, is on the tele, they just showed "da club" scene and Prince's song Head is playing in the backgroud. I forgot how good this movie is.

Give it up for Waiting to Exhale, the movie that (I would say) was an inspiration for the TV series Sex In The City!

OMG, the scene where Troy shows up at Robbin's apartment wearing a leather vest in the summer and tells her about his 13 year old son...he throws an orange at her while the theme from Love Story is playing.

I love that movie... Can you say Leon?

Anyway, that leather vest scene was hilarious...only because I have so known men like that.

I'd forgotten how funny that movie was. As for Leon...I had one girlfriend that would have "loved to drink his dirty bath water" - as the saying goes; me, I guess he's o.k. not really my flavor though.

I do recall all the hysteria over the movie; all the brothas was maaaaaddddd! They though it didn't portray them well...I think some even commented the same a couple months ago when we discussed sex in the city.
