You do not like it black if you put 3-4 spoons of sugar in it. To drink black coffee, you must drink it without any additives. The only way I drink it is black. I have about 5 (6 once) cups a day. Two cups first thing in the morning, and about 3 cups in the afternoon.

I hated coffee for the longest time but in the last two years its become a must for me in the morning. I have 3-4 cups a day eek and must have some creamer in it, I could never drink it black and I love iced coffee especially right now that it's hot!

I've been making it with a French press lately. It is thicker that way, but has a tendency to have sludge at the bottom of the cup.

I used to drink it very creamy & sweet, but now I am drinking it stronger & less sweet. I like a medium creaminess to it, a nice rich dark brown color. With Fat free half & half from Trader Joe's.

I too use a french press.. So much more flavor that way! Secret to not being bitter is not to boil the water...

I like coffee all ways! Flavored, milk and truvia, black, but ALWAYS a skinny sugar free!!

you pour the water onto the grounds then stir it up & wait a couple minutes. And then you press down the stem, which brings a mesh over the top & strains out the grounds and you can pour it into a cup.

Seems to make a pretty strong & flavorful coffee.

I use to be a big diet Coke drinker. So big that I got headaches when I tried to quit. I worried about all the chemicals that diet drinks have in them. Anyway I switched to coffee maybe a year ago. First I drank it thus, strong coffee with extra skim milk. Lately though I have been using those flavored things which sweeten aswell as lighten and maybe I am getting back to the chemicals that I tried to get away from to begin with!!!!

I envy people that can just drink it black. You need to buy less stuff. No muss no fuss. I like that idea.

Oh, quantity, my MR coffee says that I am making 12 cup and I will usually drink at least that whole pot myself.

I don't think it's referred to as black coffee once you've added 100 grams of sugar wink

That. Is. It!

For the last few months, every so often, one of my eyes - always the same one - has been twitching. It's been driving me crazy! Coincidentally, I've gone from drinking coffee occasionally to buying it every day. It's got to the point where, if I don't buy it, I REALLY notice.

Is that what could be causing it?! omg
