Sneezing

Well, hayfever season is upon us, I'm spending a fair amount of time sneezing.

Unfortunately my sneezes are quite loud. When I'm having a few of them in a row, I ocassionally like to add a comedy element to them 'Achooo hoohoohooooo!' (think of the cayote from roadrunner, falling off a cliff!) ... yeah, I'm sad.

My question is: What type of sneezer are you? sneeze
I'm not stopping. I haven't even taken my coat off

C'mon and dance while you, while you still have your cherry babe, cherry babe..

always in sets of three and depending on public of private it's either tss-tss-tss or WAAAH-CHOOOO - WAAAH-CHOOOO - WAAAH-CHOOOO!!

not because of allergies, mostly because of bright sunlight... shrug

Everytime I wake up, I'd sneeze 5-10 times in a row, then loud blowing, then nose is stuffed up for awhile. Mine tends to sound like a cough to some, so either I'm asked whether I sneezed or cough, or get a bless you and whatnot, or nothing at all because the assumption is that it was a cough. lol

I sound like James Brown caterwauling, when I sneeze. Think Prince's "BABY!!!" during "When Doves Cry," right before the ooo-ooo-ooohs.

I usually sneeze bout 2 times a day, and I don't hold them in. I tend to think that much pressure coming out of you shouldn't be bottled up. I mean I obviously cover my mouth with my hand or a napkin. I'm not rude.

My husband does these kind of sneezes - it really pisses me off. Must be a bloke thing. A woman wouldn't do that!

It's my fault though, he used to kind of hold them in, and all his veins would bulge in his neck and forehead, so I said "let them out!!!" and now he swung to the opposite extreme and if I complain he will remind me it was me who told him rolleyes lol

eek Did anything eventually happen when he held them in? I mean did the sneeze appear? Did they just go? I have visions of eyes popping out!

he held his mouth shut and squeezed his nose, like when you try and stop one, but it just puffed out his cheek and popped his veins. Probably made his eyes all bloodshot also eek

I sneeze very loudly, usually several times a day. My coworkers have resigned to only saying "bless you" once a day, or they could be saying it all day long. Once you get to know me, my sneeze is recognizable up to about half a mile away. redface
I also plug my nose when I sneeze (and cover my mouth with the rest of my hand) so that nothing gross flies out. I know you're probably not supposed to do that, but it's a habit I can't break. And when I conscisouly don't do it, stuff flies EVERYwhere, even with a tissue. So there's no going back on that one.

yeah wink I was being a bit cheeky. sorry.

It just feels like a weird little formality to me. It would be like if you cough, then you've got to do a little song and dance.
