I have this:



It's a Samson CO1U USB condensor mic that sits on a mic stand with a pop shield. I use it for recording vocals on my music in my home studio before I take the demo's to the big studio to get them finished and mixed properly.

If I pump up the software pre-amp, I can leave it where it is and it picks up my voice perfectly without having to move it closer to my face. Perfect for skype, I just talk normally from where I sit

I installed it eons ago with the intention of talking to retina and somehow I never did.

I don't log in, ever. Someone would have to request me to log in for me to even think to use it. It would never occur to me to ask someone else. I'm far too shy and not very chatty.

I just broke Stacey's Skype cherry!

for the price, the quality is amazing!!! I actually did a vocal on it that ended up on a major label release! It was good enough quality that once mixed, people wouldn't be able to tell, even though other vocals on the same track were done in big studios with thousand dollar mics!
