Just watched an old documentary on her, and whilst she is abit eccentric, its in the nicest way possible LOL. She seems down to earth and very funny in interviews. Truly one of a kind.

Not a big fan of her films mind, and I never found her attractive, but she did stand out back in the 30's and 40's, when most women didn't in Hollywood. She also stood up to studio bosses which was unheard of back then, particually for women (Bette Davis being another one).

Still, I like "the philadelphia Story", a film that still stands up quite well today.

I think even she was abit bemused by the Hollywood royalty treatment she got in her old age, but, sad as it was, she was one of the last actors alive from that "golden" era of movies.

Her name is spelled KathArine. Only reason why I know is my full name is spelled the same and people always make the SAME mistake. ONE e, two a's

She passed away a few years, back. She was a very beautiful person

I don't think many people these days watch her old movies (anyone under 30 anyway), but she did a few good films here and there, but she personally seemed cool though.

She was an amazing actor.

I've seen most of her films...but my favorite is probably Summertime (with Rossano Brazzi). Check it out sometime.
