Inspired by Punk Mistress... What constitutes a "non boring thread!"

I'm just asking, what makes a thread off the hook?
Carpenters bend wood, fletchers bend arrows, wise men fashion themselves.

they're all boring.

what makes some appear to be "popular" is dedication by the O.P. to come back every 5 minutes and respond to every single comment that is made, therefore causing the inane chatter to keep going.

Having me on it helps lol cool

Depends on if "non-boring" means "interesting topic and discussion" or "lots of posts", though...There are some really good topics of discussion in the Non-Prince music forum and even in the P&R (on occasion lol). To me, the intersting topics in the GD forum tend to be ones where you're either asked to think about some aspect of your life and yourself, or ones that invite some really good humorous responses. Those are the types I try and create when I do create threads...whether or not anyone else finds them "non-boring", though, I don't know lol...

As for popular, these types of threads will always be popular:

- Photowhore threads. Everyone likes to show off, and everyone likes to look for the photos of Orgers who they might consider attractive.

- Questionnaire threads. Ask people to talk about themselves in an easy-to-digest format, and everyone will respond lol...

- Imago threads. He's popular, and most of us will click on his threads because we want to see what he's saying this time lol nod...

- Sex threads. Ask anything about sex, anything at all, and people will flock to it. Men usually to talk about how good they are in bed, and women usually to talk about how rare it is to find a man who's good in bed lol...
