Since we were little we were raised to know, you don't mess with such a force. I always give it a second thought. Yet I am purely amazed with it as well. Truly magnificant it is.

When I was really small... had to be under the age of 5, I remember hiding under the kitchen table because of a really horrific rain storm. I still remember today, lightening struck somewhere and it traveled through the electrical line and it sparked through the electrical outlet just near the table I was under.

Made me feel, one can never truly hide if it targets your way.

It is still amazing, but I do respect it's force and power as well.

I am sooo scared of lightning. I live in the south and we have terrible lightning storms. Last week I was walking around a lake there were a few clouds and out of nowhere I seen a lightning streak accompanied by loud clapping thunder I was about .8 miles into my walk I ran back to my car as quickly as i could.Other walkers just continued on like it was nothing.

Agreed.

I was afraid of it when I was smaller too. And yes, I do give it a second thought. It's too powerful to just forget about it
