Question: if a potential employer says they will ring you on a certain day and doesn't...

what do you do? do you forget it and look at other places and assume you didn't get it or do you call to see whats up ( does that seem desperate, even though I am, but don't want to show it)

If you do call what do you say, if email what do you say?

Love u all M

You don't forgot it; I do recruitment for my company and if it is a busy day things can get overlooked, however I would continue looking cause you might find something better out there.

Also, sometimes taking the initiative and giving them a call can be a good thing and shows that you are enthuasiatic, just be calm and relaxed when you call. Don't ring up and say I'm calling cause no-one got back to me; just say 'I am following up on .....'

Good luck!

ok! nod I haven't had an interview yet- we talked for 15 mns on the phone last week and she said she and another person would ring and then I can ask questions etc and when their next work meeting is.

Was that the "interview"? Over the phone?

Have I ruined my chances already... oh man.....the last time it took her aggggges to ring back, I left it a bit cause I thought she was just busy

sad sad sad sad sad sad

Ill ring tomorrow, first thing.

Yes, calling to FOLLOW UP is a good thing, it will show that you have INITIATIVE.
