They're like guns. I see why people might think they're cool, but are of absolutely no good use for your average person. My Legacy

The trucks we know as Humvees that are used for the Army and Marines were only partially done by GM. In fact, Hummer was a separate company which was bought out by GM, and they converted most of the manufacturing from Army-style vehicles to the enormous SUV monstrosities we saw during the middle of the decade. GM should have ditched this brand a long time ago.
As for Saturn, they had been really reliable if boring-looking cars until GM screwed up the original design. They curt corners and took away the fiberglass shell and started using parts from the other vehicles until they were indistinguishable from Pontiacs, some Buicks, and some Chevy cars. I was hoping that during the bankruptcy, instead of shutting down Pontiac and Saturn, they would just spin off the brands as separate companies and let them figure out how to come up with fresher, more fuel-efficient vehicles. Then you could have some venture capital and great minds from Silicon Valley and other places come up with the car of the future. | |
