MEANWHILE canteloupe is my fave, though i'll never turn down some good watermelon. I can´t stand honeydew melons in Germany or in the USA ( mostly either imported or harvested when not really ripe ) and it really has no taste BUT if you ever get the chance, try some Turkish or Greek or Italian honeydew if you ever get the chance to go to one of those places. I´m normally a huge watermelon connoiseur but whenever I´m in Turkey, I prefer honeydew because of it´s sweet and distinct flavor. Too bad that one of the most delicious melons tastes so bland in some countries. The last time I ate strawberries in the USA I was shocked because they tasted nothing like strawberries....they looked perfect but tasted like water even though I bought them at the farmers market.
