Skype Does anyone here use Skype? I'm about to get an account, but don't know which hardware to use... do I get a headset or handset? Also, are the webcamera calls free? 
Advice please!  I'm not stopping. I haven't even taken my coat off

Do you use a laptop or a desktop? If you use a laptop I'd say get a headset for the convenience. Otherwise you would probably be better off with a standalone USB mic. |

i use skype. i got a regular phone handset. calls to other skype users are free including the web camera as far as i can recall.
i live in ireland, but i registered a uk number as the most people that i skype are in the uk. this means that they get charged for a local or national call when they ring me as well. | |
