I'm getting my ass kicked by back taxes this year. Normally I go to the Amalfi Coast, Sardinia or Capri, but this year, my broke ass is going to spend a few days on the German island of Sylt. Sylt is basically Hamburg's Hampton's but at the end of the day, it's just another overpriced sand dune with personality-free rental homes, with no feeling, no heart. There is the sea, but no romantic feeling of life there. You cannot compare it to Italy in any way, too staid, too cold, too stiff-jawed. It's nice if you just like the sea, but, it's just, well, different... | |

We're going to do some camping close to home this summer.

I went to LA at the beginning of the year (over New Year's!) and I just had a lovely long weekend in NYC!
I was planning to head to San Francisco and Seattle in August, but now that I'm house hunting, that trip is likely not gonna happen this year. 
And once Dan gets to Thailand I'm visiting him whether he likes it or not. lol. |

Charlotte, NC for 4 days with friends Supposedly seeing Q-tip in NYC in July and a random trip to Atlantic City on my own  If you will, so will I | |

this dec. my son & i are going for 7 days to san antonio texas to visit my parents who are moving there this sept., we've never been there before, so i'm looking forward to it.
next year sometime my husband, son, & i will be going to visit my husband's family in rio de janeiro, brazil. other than that, not sure yet? we come up with trips at the last minute sometimes.  | |

Went to the UK for the holidays and it was cold.
Went to Germany in Spring, and it was beautiful and warm. Will be sweating my fucking ass of in Bangkok soon. | |

Nothing big planned, but probably going to do a few days trips over the next few months. Still want to go back to Phuket for a few days for a second honeymoon type trip. 
Will almost certainly be going to the UK in 2010 though. Not sure whether for summer or winter yet. | |
