Is this not the great noise ever? Whenever I can't fall a sleep, I just turn on that portable fan, an it puts me to sleep like a baby.

I have HUGE sleep ( lack of ) issues so I often use a small

i can't stand it

but i hate most white noise. actually, i hate 90% of all sounds around
me when i'm not listening to music, tv or walking around in nature and
enjoying the sounds of wind water and animals.

i nearly went insane a few months ago when i had to sit through dinner
in a restaurant where one of those glass cake displays that turns and
turns was sat a few feet from our table and the engine on it just kept
revving up everytime someone took a piece of cake out of it.

if i'd have to sleep with a fan on i'd rip it out of the ceiling or
the wall halfway through the night and throw it out of the window.



sometimes when i have an important appointment i set an analogue alarm
as well as my usual digital one. but the ticking on it becomes louder
and louder as i sink away into half sleep.

now i put it 2 rooms down the hall with the door ajar and i still can
not sleep because of it's ticking sometimes.

i went to my md for this and he said i have the hearing of a dog
