can you really turn a ho into a housewife?

when people try to change strippers/exotic dancers (male and female), are they really just setting themselves up for failure?

Some of the OUTLANDISH hoes are church bunnies too,,,,don't fall for the obvious.

I think if a person is willing to change, they will change.

i think people eventually trade in their youthful crazy for the comfort of domesticity. otherwise, they end up one of those scary bar crusties. disbelief

Well, you can, but it may not be a wise choice. The real question is: Will they still be a hoe in the bedroom? lol

You can't "change" them, but they have to be in a different part of their life.

There is a church here in Dallas that my uncle refuses to go to. He claims that every member of that church is either a former whore or current whore. You know, I think he's right. I know a couple of ladies who go there and before they got "saved", they were pretty wild. Not to mention, they all brag about how "cute" their pastor is.

Wow, that's a pretty strong generalization. I've passed on some churches because their flavor seemed a bit "young" or unrestrained (and I'm not talking about shouting, praising or worshiping).

Not saying this is your uncle's situation, but some people run from what would tempt them... that's actually biblical, come to think of it. lol

But, what freedom is there from being judged? Romans 2 shows Paul (and I'm not trying to take this to P&R, but hear me) saying, in essence, that being born again entails God declaring us all "former somethings" and turned into new creations.

I totally get your point. I don't care for the church because I think the pastor is "dry" in his delivery and he bores me to tears. Now, my uncle is 30 years older than I am and he has lived here for most of those 30 years. He has been around and knows a lot of people. Not to mention, all of the women he used to date could be considered "whores". lol

Fauxie

I can relate to this, though I'm not about to call my wife a ho or a stripper. lol I've certainly had to tame my wife's penchant for going out and being in the nightlife, which hasn't been easy. I don't think you can change someone if they don't want to make the change. For my wife it's certainly not always been easy to settle down and give up the crazy partying and drinking. I think it'll be a part of her for a good while to come, but naturally she's slowing down as she gets older and I'm leaving her to it. I'd never want her to lose that bubbly outgoing part of her character, but I must admit I do sometimes prefer her in sensible housewife mode. lol
