E. Lynn Harris - Basketball Jones

Has anyone read this book yet? I got it from a friend of mine and read it. It was pretty good. Not as good as some of his previous work, but still decent. I loved the plot twist in the end, even though it was a little predictable.

Do you guys like his books?

I read 2 of his books. I kind of gave up on him after a while.

When i was first coming out he signed one of my books and said he was praying for me to be strong enough to tell my family. touched When me and my first bf broke up he stole it from me sad sad

Well how was the book anyway?

It started out slow and steady, but by the time I got to the end, it was really good. It was kind of predictable. I pretty much had the plot figured out with each clue he threw in. It is a good weekend read, though.

Which books did you read by him? I loved "Any Way The Wind Blows" and "Not A Day Goes By". I loved the mother character in those. I could have seen Dianne Carrol playing that part very well.

I loved "Anyway The Wind Blows" and "Not A Day Goes By". "A Love Of Your Own" was kind of weak (I thought).

I've read them all but I like his first four better.
Basketball jones was predictable.

Less than average.

I liked the cattiness of the characters. They kept me entertained for sure. For Basketball Jones, I agree that it was very predictable. The clues he dropped throughout the chapters told me where the story was going. Somehow, I knew Basil was going to show up again.
