Crap, I'm hungry I'm in the process of moving right now and as we all know that's no cheap endeavor, and I was a broke-ass to begin with.
Guess who hasn't been able to afford groceries for almost a month? I'm down to the last of the ramen noodles and canned soup, and I'm trying to stretch it out by only eating half at once. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

Do you have any eggs? I would eat scrambled eggs when I was on the bottom of the budget bucket "Nobody makes me bleed my own blood...NOBODY!"

Thanks for the concern, everyone.
If anyone ever tries to tell you $8 an hour is a livable wage in BC, kick them in the ass. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

I'll be going from a basement suite with a roommate I only kinda get along with and obnoxious, club drug using landlords living upstairs to a full house with roommates I love and landlords living on the other side of town. Ours is actually one of the highest min. wages in the country. Too bad our cost of living is also higher. NO! Do tell, please. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

I'm not even getting into that mess right now. Just one more reason Campbell needs to be beaten with a dead skunk. Don't worry about not calling. I was probably passed out somewhere anyways. I think Emm did a map for me one time of where all the Canadian orgers live but are you like in the tundra, on the coasts, near the US border (careful of illegal immigrating!) or somewhere in between? . Maybe this is a bad suggestion, but if you are really really hungry you could go to a big supermarket, or Wal-mart and just eat as you walk through the store, then put the food down before you leave and quietly walk out.
You probably won't get caught if you're any good, and if you are spotted the worst that will happen is you'll get banned from the store and yes, I'm seriously suggesting this If you will, so will I

[Edited 5/28/09 14:17pm] Vancouver! West Coast, baby. Just a few hours north of the 49th. I used to live in Kelowna, in the Okanagan Valley in the BC interior, but even that was only about 4 or 5 hours north of the border. COMPLETELY different climate from here though. Years before I was born, she and my father were both homeless for a while and they would do things like if they couldn't scrounge up enough money to actually buy food. She said they never got caught, but I suspect store security is better these days. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

I learned how to properly ration food and energy to get the most out of what there was. After all this I really should track down whatever happened to Sergeant Jones and throw her a thank you party. A relative of mine was going through some tough times (self brought on) and he stole food from the local market for over a year. He got caught 3 times, and each time was only "banned" and given a lecture, but then he went right back the next week If you will, so will I
