Interesting. Jordan has more titles, more Gold, more awards of every kind than Magic.

Did Carolina win it all with MJ? Jordan didn't have many great teams out there during his run of championships. The Jazz, Sonics, and Suns were hardly great teams. He also beat an old Lakers squad. With all that he only had one more ring. There's no way he gets 6 with the Celtics, Sixers, Pistons, and Lakers at their peaks.

Jordan hit the winning shot his freshmen year at N.C 4 the title. That other stuff u mention is speculation at best. Jordan is 9 - 0 in Championships/Olympics. The records speaks 4 itself regardless of POINTLESS speculation.

Like I said, MJ's runs were all about timing. Not his fault, but just putting things in their proper perspectives.

Why you keep bringing the Doc's Sixers into this I'll never no, they were done after 83' when they finally got they're ring. The Pistons were the Bulls rivals in the late 80's, beating them while they were at full strength in the 91' playoffs was big and it showed that the tourch had been passed, much like how the Pistons finally got through the Celtics in 88. The Bulls had to fight to get to the championship level, as most all teams did back then because that era was 1000% tougher then the early 2000's when the Lakers three-peated. Unlike your Lakers who got swept back to back years in 97/98 before they finally got a coach who could manage all that talent.

Those early 90's Knicks teams were tough as hell, one of the best Defensive teams in the history of the NBA, they were a thorn in many teams side in the NBA.Barkley and Drexler had teams who were talented enough to win 60 games and make it to the finals, Portland did it twice. I doubt many teams during the 2000's could take them in a seven game series. And that's the same Utah team that swept your Lakers in 97 wasn't it? Or was it 98? I remember young Kobe throwin' up some air balls with Bum ass Russell on D or was that Hornacek? Lol!!

That Blazers team only gave ya'll a scare in 2000, after that they had no chance, all that talent and no brains cost them! Of all those 50 win teams the Lakers took out in 01', how many were Defensive oriented? Only the Spurs come to mind and they got they're revenge on ya'll in 03', Kobe was in tears, lol!!

Please with that Sixers team in 01', they had no shot at beating the Lakers, besides AI my Sixers had nothing. All those individual awards meant nothing

I bring up the 6ers because they were one of the top teams in the 80s that were holdin' it down. And please, NO division was tougher than the West back in the late 90s/early 00s - Teams were winnin' 50 games like it was chump change. Again, peep the 2001 season and tell me who was a punk in the playoffs from the West? You can't.

Like I said the Sixers were DONE after 83, they were no longer a threat in the 80's. They got bounced in the first round as defending champs in 84' by Michael Ray and the Nets, then the next year got beat down 4-1 by the Celtics. 86 is when things really took a turn down hill when they traded Moses for bum ass Jeff Ruland. It took until 89' to even make it back to the playoffs and thenthey get swept by Pitino's Knicks in the first round.

The only two serious contenders out West in 01' were your Lakers and the Spurs the rest were chumps and got bounced like one!

As a 6er fan, I guess you REALLY see that. But as a fan of hoops, the point was to list the teams/players that dominated the 80s - YOUR 6ers WAS one of those teams. Again - THAT'S the whole point. Take emotion out of it lol.

And again, there are no chumps that win 50+ games, especially at that time. In the weak East back then? Yes, winning 50 wasn't impressive but winning 50 in the West WAS.

No emotion at all ,just facts, they weren't dominant after 83'. They had been through the wars with the Celtics, Lakers, Bucks, Spurs, Bullets in the late 70's/ Early 80's. Getting Moses in 83 was they're last shot at a ring and they got it. They made no more noise in the 80's Mutha. The next Sixers team to do anything was that 89-90 "Thump-N-Bump" squad with Barkley, Mahorn, Dawkins, Hawkins, Giminski, and Ron Anderson as the 6th man. Of course they got bounced out in the East Semis by MJ and crew in 6 but it was fun while it lasted, lol!!!

And yes those other Teams in the West not named Lakers and Spurs were chumps in 01', they got handled without much of a fight by those two.

Let's add some facts 2 this ridiculas question.
Fact 1: Bulls swept the 2 time defending NBA Champion Pistons on their way 2 their 1st title. Hardly long in the tooth.

Fact 2: Bulls swept the Lakers in L.A. on their home court 2 win their 1st title.

Fact 3. Dr J and the Sixers were OVA before Jordam played a game in the NBA.

Fact 4. Winning in the NBA is a process. It takes talent, coaching and some playoff battles 2 win titles. Once Jordans teamates became reliable in the playoffs, in the seasons that Jordan played the entire year, they won 6 titles in a row.

Fact 5. Enough said.

Fact 1 - False: Dumars - 27, Zeke - 29, Laimbeer - 33, Edwards - 35, Aguirre - 31, Microwave - 34, Rodman 29, Salley - 26, Henderson - 35, Rollins - 35 = Long in the tooth

Fact 2: Magic - 31, Worthy - 29, Scott - 29, Perkins - 29, Green - 27, Teagle - 30, Thompson - 36 = Long in the tooth.

Fact 3: Doc battled with the Lakers and Celts in the 80s, showing that THEIR timing was BAD when they faced 2 teams that had at LEAST 3 HOFers on it while they only had 2. Had they come around when MJ'S BULLS did and MJ's Bulls played when the 80s 6ers played, MJ wouldn't have 6 titles. FACT. Deal with it, playa.

Fact 4: Once those aforementioned teams were aging AND on the decline...MJ started his run. FACT! Again, deal with the FACTS, playa...and not your emotions. Most MJ jockers can't think past their idol, which eliminated all reasoning and rationale. It's hilarious because it's ALWAYS like that with MJ fans lol.

Because the Spurs had the 2nd greatest PF ever (soon to be best ever) and the Lakers had the best 1-2 combo since MJ/Pip. Superstars ALWAYS beat "teams filled with good players" - When Bill Walton said that in 2000, and the shit came thrue (up until 2004 - but that was a wild season for the Lakers altogether), I was sold on that.

U can't handle: 6 - 0, never played a game 7 in the finals. That is why u keep osting these ridiculas speculations and questions that have nothing 2 do with the finals. How can a team long in the tooth win 2 titles in a row? (89-90 pistons) That is Pure B.S.

lol What's to handle? He won. Now, he never faced a dominant C in the finals AND he never swept a finals team that had those weak Cs and weak SGs - but hey - he won! evillol

And how did the Pistons win back to back? Magic and Byron were out for their 1st one, and they beat the mediocre Blazers for their 2nd one. They were aging THEN.
