I love Archie comics.
I prefer Betty, but I always wanted Archie to end up with, say, Midge. That would really stick in Reggie's craw.

The competition between Veronica and Betty for Archie's attention has been the cornerstone of Archie Comics for 65 years. The Archie website is calling it the "the Archie Story of the Century." The website shows an image of the issue with a blue suited Archie on one knee in front of a beaming Veronica with a caption that reads "yes." Betty is teary-eyed and pal Jughead looks stunned. One comment posted on the website indicated that Archie is marrying the wrong girl. "Personally I think he should marry Betty," a person named Kelly posted. "She is cuter, more down to earth and not as flighty as Veronica." ©The Canadian Press, 2009 Archie is an idiot (even if he is a comic book character). Betty is a way better match for him than Veronica. And beside, Betty has a little of that sista booty!

I remember reading a Betty & Veronica comic of my sister's one time where the two girls stood back to back and said "We're exactly the same height". Yeah, and they also have the same face and body shape. So it doesn't matter if Archie marries Veronica, because if he wants a "Betty Night" he just has to buy her a blonde wig. | |
