I used to be a serious Pepsi drinker; Diet Pepsi, One, etc. But perhaps it was Byron's Org power that has swayed me over to Coke. I really don't care for Pepsi anymore. My palate is no longer partial to the exra sugar of Pepsi.

Does Pepsi, in fact, have more sugar per serving than Coke? I compared cans of the two yesterday, and Coke had slightly more (one additional gram) of sugar.

Pepsi has just test marketing a "throwback" Pepsi and Mountain Dew line. It's made with sugar instead of high fructose syrup.
I've heard that Coca-Cola is doing the same...

i've tried the pepsi and MD throwback sodas...i actually almost liked the throwback pepsi because at least it tasted less syrupy to me, but it still had that weird chemical-sweet pepsi taste that makes me prefer coca-cola. i'll be VERY happy when the "throwback" coke goes on the market, because i really really like mexican coca-cola. nod

I like the throw back a lot more too. It don't leave my mouth so thick and sticky...it don't make me thirsty like pepsi does after 10 minutes either.

I drink the Kosher/Mexican Coke every once in a while, and I definitely prefer it to the stuff sold here in the USA. I think they have the equivalent of a quarter cup of sugar in each 16 oz serving, but I notice after I drink it, I'm pretty satiated. coke nod Unlike the high fructose corn syrup concoctions which are like liquid crack, which keeps you wanting more even after 32 oz.

This is what happens when idiots without a clue run things - you get a substance in a drink that people go to rehab to learn to quit.
