It's funny, I'm not so much of a lurker, (I've posted a modest 350 times), but everytime I do post, it either goes ignored, or somehow it spells the death of the forum.

It's not like all my posts are irrelevant or stupid either, just ignored.

So in a way, I am a silent orger because "If an orger makes a post, but no one bothers to read it, does he make a sound?"

A resounding no.

I used to be a lurker...actually I found the forums to too busy and chaotic to actually follow. I think there's an actually a learning process to orging...

For one thing, you've got to post a lot before you get noticed. Until people see you several times you can't really expect them to remember you or know you.

I've posted since before the black and purple org 1.0 (I'm sure I appear in at least one of the old PPML digests), but I did it so infrequently that I might as well have been a brand-new orger every single time as far as everyone else was concerned.

Then I got sucked in...now all the Affirmative Action people want my head on a stick and wife is about to leave me...all because of this place! :LOL:
